Dave Chappelle Tests Positive for COVID-19

Dave Chappelle was forced to cancel his upcoming show in Texas after testing positive for COVID-19.

The comedian is asymptomatic and self-quarantined.

Joe Rogan was set to join the legendary comedian on Friday and Saturday but apologized for the cancellations.

“We’ll reschedule them as soon as we can,” Mr. Rogan said early Friday in an Instagram post

Dave Chappelle has been hosting comedy shows in Ohio where social distancing is enforced and rapid tests are given to guests.

His positive diagnosis comes months after his Saturday Night Live hosting where he discussed the ongoing pandemic.

“Do you guys remember what life was like before Covid?” Mr. Chappelle said. “I do. There was a mass shooting every week. Anyone remember that? Thank God for Covid. Someone had to lock these murderous whites up and keep them in the house.”
