Beyonce Makes History With Most Wins in Grammys History

Beyonce made history at the Grammys.

Beyonce won the award for Best R&B Performance for “Black Parade” over Brittany Howard’s “Goat Head,” Emily King’s “See Me,” Jacob Collier’s “All I Need,” and Jhené Aiko’s “Lightning & Thunder.”

Yonce now has 28 sippy cups, topping Alison Kraus who has 27 victories.

JAY-Z was also awarded for “Black Parade” because he’s a credited songwriter on the record.

In her acceptance speech, Bey thanked her three children and husband for motivating her to keep pushing forward.

Earlier that night Beyonce took home the Grammys for Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song for Megan Thee Stallion’s “Savage,” along with Best Music Video for “BROWN SKIN GIRL.”

“Brown Skin Girl” was also a historic win for her daughter, Blue Ivy, who became one of the youngest musicians to receive the coveted award.

Ms. Tina Lawson shared a tribute to her oldest granddaughter on Instagram. “Congratulations to my beautiful talented, grandaughter for being one of The youngest Grammy winners! For ‘Brown Skin Girl’ You go my Blue Blue!!! Soo proud of you!!!”
