Demi Lovato Cancels Remaining Tour Dates Amid Checking Into Rehab

Demi Lovato is putting her health first, and canceling her remaining tour dates to commit to sobriety.

Days after the vocalist checked in at a rehabilitation center, a rep confirmed the Tell Me You Love Me tour dates have been dropped.

Her up and coming shows one month from now in Mexico and also November shows in Chile, Argentina and Brazil have been chopped out. Live Nation and Lotus Productions “wish Demi Lovato the best now and in the future and we hope to see her soon in South America.” Refunds will be available starting Friday.

The news comes not long after Demi broke her silence on Instagram almost two weeks after a meth overdose.

“I have always been transparent about my journey with addiction,” she wrote to her followers. “What I’ve learned is that this illness is not something that disappears or fades with time. It is something I must continue to overcome and have not done yet.”

She continued, “I now need time to heal and focus on my sobriety and road to recovery. The love you have all shown me will never be forgotten and I look forward to the day where I can say I came out on the other side. I will keep fighting.”

She was discharged from the hospital a week after her overdose and transferred to an undisclosed rehab facility where she will stay for an extended period of time.
