Doja Cat Quits TikTok, She’s Not Comfortable With Gaslighting Trolls

A few days ago, Doja Cat tweeted that she was quitting TikTok due to gaslighting comments!

Doja Cat has been on a roll lately. From doing features with Saweetie to the double collab with Ariana Grande and Megan thee Stallion. However, those achievements weren’t enough to keep the rapper from being unhappy about “unintentionally gaslighting” comments from trolls.

The “Best Friend” rapper is known for her goofy ways. She always posts silly videos, as well as photos, to her Instagram, Twitter, and Tiktok. Fans and trolls have been making comments about her videos for a while.  For awhile, Doja wouldn’t let the critics get to her. Always trolling, instead of giving up on her antics, would reply to them. After a string of “dumb” videos last year, Doja Cat tweeted a video with the caption, “No more BS. I’ll be posting strictly about music for now on and I’m sorry for wasting everyone’s time.”

However, it looks Doja Cat is serious this time. In a series of Tweets, the female rapper shares that she won’t be making Tik Tok videos anymore because she doesn’t feel “comfortable.”

Another tweet referred to trolls gaslighting her, furthering her reason as to why she simply can’t take it anymore. The “Best Friend” rapper didn’t go into depth with which comments had rattled her. However, it appears to be related to her being mocked. Her tweets came after posting videos in which she impersonated Tyga, Megan Thee Stallion, and Connor McGregor.

This would not be the first time her impersonations got her in trouble. Furthermore, Doja’s response may also be from recent criticism from people like Azealia Banks. What do you guys think?
