Dr. Dre Is Reportedly Ordered To Pay Additional $1.5M In Legal Fees To Ex-Wife

Dr. Dre’s highly-publicized divorce from Nicole Young continues as the Hip Hop mogul is ordered to pay an additional $1.5 in his ex-wife’s legal fees.

The Blast reports that Dre was hit with the temporary order to pay the legal fees in addition to the spousal support, totaling his bill to over $4 million.

The report that was published on Tuesday states that this amount is “reasonably necessary” for hiring top-tier legal professionals and reflects a “reasonable and justifiable” hourly rate.

This is the amount for the legal fees from July to now.

Nicole Young filed for divorce from Dr. Dre in July after being married for two decades. Young cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for her filing, accused him of abuse during their trial, and sought $2 million in spousal support.

Dr. Dre hit her with a counter lawsuit claiming she embezzled hundreds of thousands of dollars from a company bank account and denied her abuse claims.
