Previously, Drake brought out Meek Mill as a guest during the Boston stop of the Aubrey and the Three Amigos tour with Migos. Now, Drake has done again, and it was only right that he brought him out in his hometown, Philadelphia.
The Wells Fargo Arena was on tilt on Saturday, (Sept. 15th). Fans were hoping that Drizzy would bring out the Philly emcee again since he recently brought him out during his Boston show, and he did not disappoint them.
Check out the footage below:
During Drake’s set, Meek burst onto the stage in front of the home crowd and put on for his city with the hood anthem classic, “Dreams and Nightmares (Intro).”
This was further proof of the duo publicly squashing their beef last week, even though Meek announced that their beef was officially over in May. This performance is now the second time that the two rappers have shared a stage since the feud in 2015.
After reuniting with Drake in Boston last week, Drake posted a photo of them two on Instagram. “This really gave me peace of mind tonight. Healing and moving forward created one of the most electric and gratifying moments of my career. @meekmill I’m happy that you are home and that we could find our way back to our joint purpose.”
Now are we getting another possible Meek x Drizzy collab? Only time will tell!
