Drake Brings Out Big Freedia, Yung Miami at New Orleans Tour Stop

Words by Melissa Gabriel

Drake’s Aubrey and the Three Migos tour continued its U.S. run Monday night with a stop at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans. Drake welcomed both Big Freedia and City Girls’, Yung Miami to the stage during his performance.

Big Freedia, who appears on the Scorpion cut, “Nice for What,” quoted the song’s lyrics in her Instagram caption saying, “That’s a real one and you’re a reflection.” Furthermore, Miami showed love to her other half, JT, and tore the stage.

In addition, Drake brought out fifth Ward Weebie and Alvin Kamara amid his set.

This New Orleans show brings the tour dates back to normal after a few postponed Miami dates following Drake’s much needed time to recover after being temporarily ill.

The “In My Feelings” rapper shared, “Unlike other show cancellations or date adjustments due to production issues, this one fell on me and I just want to apologize because I hate letting down anyone who [comes] to share these moments with us.”

Thank goodness Drizzy is alive and well to finish up his much anticipated tour. Have you copped your tickets yet?
