Jay Electronica finally delivered his long-delayed debut album, A Written Testimony, last weekend and fans are raving.
Hip Hop fans spent their quarantined weekend dissecting Electronica’s and JAY-Z’s bars on Twitter. Hov was featured on nine out of ten tracks, but that was the most obvious collaborator outside of The-Dream and Travis Scott. Rihanna made a sneaky appearance in the background of “Flux Capacitor,” and it looks like Beyonce even had a hand in the project.
According to the credible Ain’t No Jigga Twitter account, which many believes is JAY-Z himself, “Beyoncé took a photograph of her pool, then they made it the cover.”
The picture is so breathtaking, many people wondered if it was a painting. But if it turns out that Bey simply walked to her backyard and just took a photo from her iPhone, that’s a big flex.
Ahead of the album’s release, Jay Electronica went on Instagram Live and it was allegedly confirmed that Bey did take the photo herself. But it’s unclear whether or not she took it with intentions on it becoming cover art for A Written Testimony.
Did you get a chance to give the project a listen yet? What are your thoughts?
