JAY-Z Gifts Fat Joe $60,000 Worth of Champagne for his 48th Birthday

Words by Melissa Gabriel

Fat Joe brought in his 48th birthday celebration at JAY-Z’s 40/40 Club with his elite circle of friends including Floyd Mayweather, Tiffany Haddish, Mary J. Blige, Ja Rule, Joe Budden, Keith Sweat, Fabolous and more. We are sure everyone was leaning back and rocking away with the Bronx native celebrating his life.

Although the event was held at the 40/40 club, Hov was not in attendance because on he is on the second installment of the joint On the Run tour with Beyoncé. However, he sent the gathering 10 bottles of Ace of Spades Champagne to make up for it. Each bottle is normally priced at $6,000 per bottle, totaling to $60,000. $60,000 would normally be a huge fee for a birthday gift. Yet, we are certain $60,000 wouldn’t even hurt Blue’s piggy bank.

Fat Joe was was also gifted a pair of “customized Big Punisher-themed sneakers” — but he left the hot spot without knowing who provided the thoughtful present.

Cheers to another year Joe!
