Why Kim and Kanye Hasn’t Filed For Divorce Yet? “For the Sake of the Kids”

The news that Kim Kardashian is officially filing for divorce broke Tuesday.

According to Kim, the alleged delay is because she wants to figure out the best solution for their kids. The couple is reportedly in “settlement talks” and keeping things lowkey that they’re done.

Rumors about the divorce have circulated for a few months with no confirmation. Over the past few years, the couple had experienced several rough patches. One incident includes Kanye West tweeting that he had been considering divorcing his wife since 2018.  In the tweet, he revealed the consideration after Kim met with Meek Mills to discuss “prison reform” at the Waldorf hotel.

 

 

It appears as though West’s public actions and his outbursts have been bothering Kim for a long time.

Many may remember Kanye’s very emotional anti-abortion speech from last year. In the speech, he mentioned his daughter North. In addition, West continued to share a series of since-deleted tweets about his wife’s and the Kardashian family. Days later Kim released a statement on Instagram in which she told her followers that her husband had bipolar disorder.

“As many of you know, Kanye has bi-polar disorder. Anyone who has this or has a loved one in their life who does knows how incredibly complicated and painful it is to understand,’ she wrote. “I’ve never spoken publicly about how this has affected us at home because I am very protective of our children and Kanye’s right to privacy when it comes to his health. But today, I feel like I should comment on it because of the stigma and misconceptions about mental health.”

West since then as apologized. However, sources have stated that West “knows that she’s done” and “she has had enough and she told him that she wants some space to figure out her future.”
