Kobe Bryant Reportedly Died in a Helicopter Crash

It’s with deep regret to inform you guys that Kobe Bryant was killed in a helicopter crash on Sunday morning. Multiple sources confirmed what many of us can’t believe to be true.

His private helicopter went down into flames shortly before 10:00 am in Calabasas. Emergency personnel responded but they couldn’t make their way through the bushfire that was ignited by the crash, according to LA Times.

TMZ said that eyewitnesses told them that the heard the helicopter’s engine sputtering before it crashed.

There appeared to be five people on board and no one survived. Fortunately, Kobe’s wife, Vanessa Bryant, was not on board, according to TMZ. He was only 41 and had a promising post-retirement career in Hollywood.

In 2018 he won an Oscar for Best Animated Short for Dear Basketball, and had a slate of projects lined up under his Granity Studios production company.

Kobe is survived by his wife and four daughters. Make sure to stay tuned for updates on this developing story.
