Lil Baby, Meek Mill and More Rappers Unfollow Gunna From Social Media

After video footage of Gunna confirming to Fulton County authorities that YSL is a gang, the internet has deemed him a snitch.

Gunna, Young Thug, and other YSL members were arrested last May and charged with a RICO. Last December, the “Pushin P” rapper, legally named Sergio Kitchens, was released from jail following an Alford plea deal, and not many of his peers greeted him back to the world with open arms.

A few of his industry colleagues have unfollowed the 29-year-old on Instagram. Fellow rappers like Polo G, Meek Mill, and his frequent collaborator, Lil Baby were among the few who have cut ties with him online. Fans even speculated that Lil Durk dissed Gunna in a recent snippet of his new song.

Footage of the Georgia plea deal got leaked and in the snippet, Gunna confirms to Fulton County authorities that YSL is a gang and that “YSL must end.” The Atlanta native’s testimony comes after 300 Entertainment co-founder Kevin Liles testified on Thugger’s behalf.

Liles said, “I’ve gotten to know him personally over the last 10 years. I’m kind of emotional because of how good this guy is. I’ve been in this music thing called Hip-Hop for 38 years and for the life of me, I don’t understand why I have to testify of the good that Hip-Hop has done around the world.”

Liles even told TMZ Gunna shouldn’t be locked up after the “Rap and the Rules of Evidence” panel in Washington D.C. last September. But since his release, the Drip or Drown rapper has been receiving backlash online and being called a “rat.”

Gunna’s plea deal only applies to his case and he’s stated that he has no intention to testify against any of his YSL co-defendants during the trial.
