The “No More Drama” singer is bringing drama to a home near you.
Directed by Malik Vitthal, in a supernatural thriller, Mary J. Blige portrays an officer for the Los Angeles Police Department, who is being haunted by a spirit of an unarmed black man that she killed.
In the trailer below, things go left during a routine traffic stop and she’s questioned about the footage from her dash cam and body cam following the incident.
The singer also shared a new song to go with the movie called, “Can’t Be Life.” Blige co-wrote the song with collaborators Denise Rich, Chucky Thompson, Stacy Barthe, Aaron Phillip,s and Jimmy Cozier. The track was produced by Thompson. What do you think of the song below?

The movie is now available to purchase digitally, and will be available to rent On-Demand on June 15th and will be released on DVD on July 14.
