Despite the Pennsylvania Supreme Court inviting her to do so, Judge Genece Brinkley will not remove herself from Meek Mill’s drugs and weapons case.
Her lawyer, A. Charles Peruto, Jr., insists that she will give the rapper a fair chance. Peruto tells TMZ that the judge doesn’t feel like the Supreme Court rejected her rulings when they ordered Meek to go free without bail, pending his June hearing.
The following hearing will determine if the Philly emcee’s 10-year-old drugs and weapon case should be tossed because of the testimony of a crooked cop. Unfortunately, Peruto suggests that Brinkley will not side with the prosecutors or Meek’s lawyer because there were other officers who testified in the case and if their credibility is intact, she might not overturn the conviction.
Brinkley’s lawyer further insists that she has no personal vendetta, and that she has been fair from the start
