Roddy Ricch took to Instagram to offer his assistance to the families of the victims that lost their lives at Astroworld.
“Please have the families of those who we lost yesterday reach out,” Roddy wrote. “I’ll be donating my net compensation to the families of this incident #Pray4Houston.”
This generous gesture comes a day after Roddy Ricch performed at Astroworld and a mass casualty incident was declared.
“The crowd for whatever reason began to push and surge towards the front of the stage, which caused the people in the front to be compressed – they were unable to escape that situation,” Houston Fire Chief Sam Peña said during a news conference early Saturday morning.
Houston Police are currently investigating “whether the casualties stemmed were drug-related,” as per several reports.
So far two lawsuits were fired off naming Travis Scott and organizers, and one of the suits even named Drake.
Travis plans to refund all Astroworld attendees and canceled his upcoming Day N Vegas performance because he’s “too distraught to play.”
La Flame explained he didn’t know the “severity of the situation” until the news started breaking and his baby’s mother, Kylie Jenner, defended him.
“I want to make it clear we weren’t aware of any fatalities until the news came out after the show and in no world would have continued filming or performing. I am sending my deepest condolences to all the families during this difficult time and will be praying for the healing of everyone who has been impacted,” she wrote on her Instagram story.
