50 Cent Calls Out DJ Clue for Allegedly Refusing to Play Pop Smoke’s Music

If you rub 50 Cent the wrong way, you can set the timer and wait for him to air you out on social media.

The mogul claims DJ Clue refused to play his collaboration with Pop Smoke and Roddy Ricch because the DJ’s rival, Funk Flex, premiered the record on Hot 97. “Fuck you Clue,” 50 said. “You don’t mean shit! [Funk Flex] been kicking your ass up and down the street for years … I done sold 30 million records. You think I give a fuck if you play my music?”

Clue is a quiet legend and as many expected, he didn’t even respond to Fifty’s jabs. Instead, he re-directed the attention to the late Brooklyn rapper’s album and even shouted out “#TeamPanama” which is where both of their families are from.

Flex was savoring the entire moment and commented on 50 Cent’s post, “you know why I’m here!”

The two New York radio deejays have been beefing for a long time. But that’s another story for another day.

Pop Smoke made his debut to the world today and although he’s not here physically to celebrate, Shoot for the Stars Aim for the Moon is a wonderful addition to his legacy.
