Bow Wow Admits he was Addicted to Lean During Production of Joint Album With Omarion, ‘Face Off’

Bow Wow To Join WWE Following Final Album Release

Bow Wow has been sharing more parts of his personal life this year. Amid the death of Mac Miller, who passed away from a drug overdose last Friday (Sept. 7), Mr. Moss has opened up about his history with lean addiction and how it almost killed him.

The Ohio native took to Twitter yesterday morning (Sept. 10) and revealed that he drank lean regularly while recording his and Omarion’s 2007 joint project, Face Off. While listing different moments where he was high he confessed, “The entire time I was on the UCP visit with chris I WAS SIPPING 4’s atleast7 times each day [sic].”

After a show in Cincinnati while on tour with Chris Brown, Bow Wow says he came to terms with his addiction when he woke up in a hospital. Doctors told him he was experiencing a withdrawal. “I never felt a pain like that ever,” he tweeted. “That shit is not cool and i was doing it to be cool!”

“DRUG FREE IS THE WAY TO BE!” Bow concluded. “The young artists all the kids around the world.. dont follow a trend. Break the cycle.”

Not long ago Bow Wow sat down with The Breakfast Club and talked on his suicidal thoughts, and said his forthcoming album title would be the word spelled backward. His depression stems from losing a son earlier this year. He made the revelation on Twitter about a month ago. “Im over everything. Mentally i feel detached im in so much pain bro,” he added. Hopefully, everything looks up for him as he prepares to tour with So So Def in October.
