Kylie Jenner is going to stick beside Travis Scott as he gets dragged for the Astroworld incident.
Authorities report at least 8 people died, including a 14-year-old boy, and hundreds of concertgoers were injured last Friday after chaos erupted when Travis took the stage.
Kylie, who is pregnant, attended the show with her their daughter, Stormi, and her sister, Kendall.
“Travis and I are broken and devastated,” the beauty mogul said in a statement posted to her Instagram story. “My thoughts and prayers are with all who lost their lives, were injured or affected in anyway [sic] by yesterday’s events. And also for Travis who I know cares deeply for his fans and the Houston community.”
She continued, “I want to make it clear we weren’t aware of any fatalities until the news came out after the show and in no world would have continued filming or performing. I am sending my deepest condolences to all the families during this difficult time and will be praying for the healing of everyone who has been impacted.”
Kylie was presumably addressing the people who criticized Travis Scott and Astroworld organizers for ignoring the red flags and not ending the livestream sooner.
Travis released another statement explaining that he couldn’t “imagine the severity of the situation.”
The ‘Invasion of Privacy’ rapper dropped the bomb during an Instagram livestream on Sunday night.
