Toya Wright Defends Decision to Grant Reality TV Cameras in Court Room During Brothers' Murderers' Trial

Toya Wright was dragged for allowing reality TV cameras in the courtroom during her brother’s murderers’ trial. She defended her decision in an interview with Page Six, “This is my reality.”

“The truth is, people were asking me why [I am] showing all that stuff,” the 36-year-old noted. She even admitted that her friends were “stunned” at her decision. “But when you sign up to do a reality show,” she continued, “this is my reality.”

In September, Antoine “Tweezy” Edwards was convicted of the 2016 shooting that took the life of Toya Wright’s brothers’ Ryan “Rudy” Johnson, 24, and Joshua Johnson, 31. Edward was sentenced to life in prison and fans of the entrepreneur will get to see the suspenseful moment on T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle.
