Young Money tweeted what appeared to be the cover art for Lil Wayne’s forthcoming release, Tha Carter V. The caption read, “Put them 5s up!!!”
Hot 97 reports that the album is slated to be released on September 21st, however, the label hasn’t confirmed a release date. They just simply teased the cover art.

Tha Carter Vis a folklore at this point. After years of delays due to Lil Wayne’s legal issues with parent label, Cash Money’s CEO, Birdman, it’s a miracle that the project would actually see the light of day.
Weezy won a small victory against Cash Money back in June. In an agreement between Tunechi, Universal Records, and Cash Money, the “A Milli” rapper will receive a $10 million payout and is no longer with the label.
Floyd Mayweather also added fuel to the rumor after he posted a picture of a big red Roman numeral 5, and the caption read, “#21.”
