Video surveillance shows a crowd looting at a Walmart Supercenter in Tampa Bay, Florida. The footage was released by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. Now authorities are asking the public for help to identify the individuals who broke into the store and stole $100K worth of merchandise on May 30th following the protests of the death of George Floyd.

“Not only is this violence completely unacceptable, it was disrespectful to the protestors who were out there that night trying to express their message in an impactful way,” Sheriff Chad Chronister. “We are actively working to identify each and every one of these suspects and ask the public to provide any information they may have.”

Computers, TVs, & more were items taken out of the electronics section authorities say. Walmart reported an estimated $116,000 items in lost merchandise and ensuring damages.

But Ice Cube took notice after CBS News reported the incident on Twitter and responded by saying he would take care of the damages if no one who was involved was arrested.

“No arrest and I’ll cover the $100K. Deal?” Cube tweeted.

Also in response to the tweet people voiced their opinions on the looting saying it was still wrong but Cube shared another response in light of the looting saying, “Law Enforcement’s slow response to arresting the THUG COPS that murdered Mr. Floyd cause this uprising and all damages from steaming from it.”
