Drake threw himself an extravagant, Narcos birthday party for his 35th Birthday (Oct 24), in Los Angeles over the weekend . The themed party title was “Chico Amante” a popular web series that chronicles the rise of the cocaine trade in Colombia along with a tribute to his sixth studio album Certified Lover Boy. Drake dressed up in a custom cowboy boots, a white cowboy hat, tan fringed jacket, bolo tie and denim shirt.
Drake received many meaningful presents throughout his party. He shared a picture of a Rolls-Royce Phantom that his manager and DJ, Future The Prince, bought for him. However, Drake explained on his instagram post’s caption . The luxury car is the same one he used to rent for $5,000 per month just to “keep up appearances” while he was recording his breakout mixtape, So Far Gone. He continued, telling his followers that he doesn’t necessarily condone spending money you barely have on “material things,” but that he now considers the act “extreme manifesting.”
“Today in 2021 my brother [Future the Prince] tracked down the exact car I use to stress over and gifted it to me…it’s mine now. Manifestation complete,” Drake added. “Thank you for all the love and appreciation and gifts and texts and dm’s…more than just loved I feel truly appreciated and that is the only gift I ever needed. But that wasn’t the only gift Drake got for his birthday this weekend, as he was also presented with a custom OVO chain from Young Thug, featuring a photo of him with his son Adonis on the back.
The guest list for Drake’s Haloween bash reportedly included Future, Chris Brown, French Montana, Offset, Kawhi Leonard, Jack Harlow, YG, as well as Drake’s dad Dennis Graham.
