Nenobia Washington, also known as “The Queen of Brooklyn,” reportedly passed away at the age of 38. According to members of her family members. “Nenobia who’s BK Tidal Wave’s sister list confirmed to me that she passed away,” read a tweet from the Rap Alert account.

Nenonbia was known for her comedy antics on social media, but it was her viral interview with HotNewHipHop in 2015 that brought her to Instagram fame. In the clip, she predicted that Hillary Clinton will become president, denounces ISIS and expresses her love for Brooklyn’s own JAY-Z.
“Jay-Z is not illuminati. … He’s a real n****,” she said in the clip before rapping along to the 1997 In My Lifetime Vol. 1 track “Imaginary Player.” In the same video, she also expressed a dislike for Nicki Minaj and Rick Ross. She stated in the video.
Per TMZ, authorities are investigating Washington’s death which they believe that she fell from a building’s sixth floor, however, they are undecided as to whether she jumped or fell from an upright position. Paramedics responded to a call Saturday evening, where they found Washington unconscious and unresponsive. She was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
Washington’s family claims they have gotten conflicting accounts on the incident from the father of her child, David Jackson, who told TMZ that the influencer fell through a window.
Jackson set up a GoFundMe page for Washington’s funeral, which quickly surpassed its $30K goal. All of the contributors were updated by Jackson, who informed them that the remaining funds will be used to care for Washington’s son.
