Fresh off the heels of their recent collaboration, “FEFE,” Nicki Minaj has welcomed Tekashi 6ix9ine to join her upcoming world tour with Future. She made the announcement via Instagram today (July 24).

Tekashi will fill in as one of three openers on the 51-show run across North America and Europe. The other two acts have not yet been reported. The tour kicks off in Baltimore on Sept. 21.

6ix9ine dropped his record with Nicki on Sunday (July 22) after bits of gossip whirled about a joint effort between the two New Yorkers. Hours after the release, the Brooklyn rapper was hospitalized following being kidnapped, robbed, and pistol whipped. But he seems to be in good spirits.

It’s less clear how his legal troubles will affect his capacity to tour. Tekashi was arrested not long ago in New York in the wake of finishing a visit in Europe, and faces charges in Texas for professedly choking a 16-year-old kid at a shopping center. He is also being accused of assaulting a New York City  police officer.

Amid 6ix9ine’s first court appearance for the Texas charges, a judge scolded him for leaving the country with an outstanding warrant, and also continuing to get arrested disregarding the still-uncompleted terms of his 2015 probation assention for sexually assaulting 13-year-old young lady.

Nicki’s new collection Queen is scheduled to be released on Aug. 10. Future dropped his most recent mixtape BeastMode 2 on July 6.
